GAMEPLAY: PERMUTATIONS: THE RULES OF LARP

The Emerald Chronicles Charter & Rules of Conduct:

This game and all of the associated games (spheres) have a charter that has codes of conduct, election procedures and disciplainary actions agreed upon by every player and Storyteler in every game. Playing in our game requires you to abide by it. The full charter can be read here.

A lot of it comes down to common sense and adult behavior. Some of it is unique to our situation, unique to the LARP we are playing and unique to the site rules of the locations where we play, so it's a very good idea to be aware of these basic rules. Ignorance of them is not an excuse.

In the case of a violation of the rules, a group of players called Player Advocates will work with the Storytellers to decide what is appropriate for the issue at hand. It is possible to be asked to leave the game temporarily or even permenantly if there is a genuine safety concern. That said, this is a volunteer organization. Noone owes you a particular experience. Please be courteous, use good judgement and help your friends do the same and we'll all be alright.
