PATHS OF ENLIGHTENMENT
All paths are considered Uncommon and require a teacher if they are associated with your character's Clan by the V20 Lore of the Clans book. Other paths are Rare.
MERITS, FLAWS, COMBO-DISCIPLINES, BACKGROUNDS ETC.
All items listed under a Clan in the V20 Lore of the Clans book (unless otherwise specified) are restricted to that Clan only. No other clan may ever learn or use them.

BLOODLINES & ANTI-TRIBU
Playing almost any Clan's listed alternate Bloodlines increase the base Clan's Concept Rarity by at least a degree. All powers & traits specified only for specific rival bloodlines and anti-tribu (Sabbat) are not available to characters in the the base Clan to purchase without an additional Concept Rarity increase. This is spent at character creation only and not offered after character appoval is complete.

Mortuario Flaw - Increases base Giovanni rarity by a degree. Only one allowed in play at a time.

The Memento de Morte Background's bonuses are applicable on Ritual rolls only. Each level of this background repsents a single item. Items are not indestructable and can be stolen or destroyed if not cared for.

Spirit Slave Background - Only base wraiths are appropriate for play; no 'greater powered' spirits. Select 2 traits the Wraith is good at, similar to how we run the Allies background. It is not necessary to spend permenant Willpower to re-bind a wraith each year and a day. The Spirit Slaves background may be pooled in a coterie, but only among other Giovanni.

All other merits, flaws, combo disciplines and other traits associated with the write up in Lore of the Clans are approved for play.

Paths of Enlightenment add a level of rarity to the Concept.

Beginning play with a clan-only combo discipline adds a level of rarity to the Concept.
