PATHS OF ENLIGHTENMENT
All paths are considered Uncommon and require a teacher if they are associated with your character's Clan by the V20 Lore of the Clans book. Other paths are Rare.
MERITS, FLAWS, COMBO-DISCIPLINES, BACKGROUNDS ETC.
All items listed under a Clan in the V20 Lore of the Clans book (unless otherwise specified) are restricted to that Clan only. No other clan may ever learn or use them.

BLOODLINES & ANTI-TRIBU
Playing almost any Clan's listed alternate Bloodlines increase the base Clan's Concept Rarity by at least a degree. All powers & traits specified only for specific rival bloodlines and anti-tribu (Sabbat) are not available to characters in the the base Clan to purchase without an additional Concept Rarity increase. This is spent at character creation only and not offered after character appoval is complete.

All other merits, flaws, combo disciplines and other traits associated with the write up in Lore of the Clans are approved for play.

The merit Secret Stash affects Backgrounds. The merit may only be used to create a number of Background points equal to the Merit rank, and then the merit disappears, having been transferred into the background points permanently. Only the backgrounds listed in the merit can be created this way. The backgrounds created in this way may never exeed 5.

Paths of Enlightenment add a level of rarity to the Concept.

Beginning play with a clan-only combo discipline adds a level of rarity to the Concept.
