GAMEPLAY: PERMUTATIONS: BACKROUNDS: HERD

 

Per the V20 core book, you may roll to have your Herd perform minor tasks on your character's behalf. For 'minor tasks' (body disposal, picking up dry cleaning, delivering a package or invitation, etc.) roll Herd rating only, diff 7 (with no associated Attribute). 

 

Botching a Herd roll results in the loss of a dot of Herd, which may be re-purchased with XP. (Backgrounds cost the same as Abilities at ECC)

 

Herd also effects feeding scenes by reducing the amount of time needed to stay out of game by 10 minutes per dot when feeding at game.

 

A character's Herd rating is automatically accounted for by staff when calculating each character's monthly feeding score. This background adds +1 blood per dot of Herd each month.
